Frequently Asked Questions
Do we need a full ERP?
Usually not, and we will say so. Most Rourkela ancillary units need two or three processes fixed properly — job tracking, quality records, stores — rather than a licence for a system that assumes a scale they do not have. A full ERP that nobody completes is more expensive than a small system that people actually use.
Will this help with our ISO audit?
Indirectly but substantially. Most nonconformities we see come from records existing in principle and being unfindable in practice. Capturing inspection and maintenance data as work happens is what makes an audit a retrieval exercise rather than a scramble. We also do ISO 9001 readiness consulting separately if you want the management system addressed directly.
Our staff are not computer literate. Is this realistic?
It is, provided the system is designed for them rather than for a demo. That means few fields, a tablet or shared terminal on the floor instead of asking a supervisor to go to an office PC, and training in person. If a design needs a manual to operate, the design is wrong.
Do you visit Rourkela, or is this remote?
We visit. Requirements and training happen on-site, and because we are based in Odisha there is no travel loading of the kind a Bangalore or Delhi firm would add to reach Sundargarh.
